what we’re reading
pilgrim at tinker creek — annie dillard
pilgrim is a woman spending a year paying close attention — to one creek, one valley, one season bleeding into the next. dillard doesn't write about nature to soothe you — she writes about it to wake you up. to notice what's already there before you decided to stop looking.
for a late winter weekend when the light is starting to shift, this is the right book. permission to slow down. to pay attention. to find something extraordinary in the ordinary season you've been rushing through.
