what we’re reading

start with yourself – a new vision for work & life, by emma grede

part memoir, part mindset manual from the co-founder of Good American and SKIMS — a working-class East London kid with undiagnosed dyslexia who left school early and built an empire. her framework is simple: identify the "old thoughts" you inherited about ambition, money, and guilt, and swap them for new ones.

the chapter on guilt — and her reframe of "having it all" as "having it all, just not all at once" — is worth the price alone. you will like it if you’ve felt you’ve ever had to apologize for wanting more.
